INTENT:
This interior (and exterior facade) follows a Modern Industrial-Minimalist concept, common in urban specialty coffee shops. It focuses on transparency, clean lines, and a "grab-and-go" functional aesthetic.
APPROACH:
The dominant feature is the floor-to-ceiling glass storefront. It blurs the line between the indoor cafe and the outdoor seating, making the small footprint feel much larger. It maximizes daylight, which highlights the product displays and creates an inviting atmosphere for passersby.
Features
Small wooden planters and counter bases add a touch of warmth and organic texture. Small potted plants provide a "pop" of life against the grey and glass.
The bright yellow and green of the SOMA logo are used as the primary accent colors, giving the space a fresh, energetic feel.
